About IDP Curriculum
The International Dental Program is divided into two stages:
• First Stage: a (six week) standardization course of 280 hours.
• Second Stage: To be held during 4 semesters (2 years). All students,
without exceptions, must take the two stages.
• Standardization Course starts in January and ends mid-February.
• The Second Stage is divided into 4 semesters, beginning in
mid-February.
• La Salle's IDP is a bilingual program.
Non-Spanish Speaking Students
Because Mexico is a Spanish speaking country, the applicants admitted to
IDP who are coming from non- Spanish speaking countries, must take an
intensive course in Spanish in the Language Center at La Salle
University, from October 6th to December 12th of 2008, and continue with
a Spanish regular course from January 6th of 2009 through the first year
at IDP. Students have to take and pass the La Salle Spanish language
